A Summer routine can help increase intentionality, organization, and productivity throughout your day and help you get the most out of this season.
A routine does not have to be a strict schedule. Instead, you can use it as a guideline to complete certain activities. Allowing for greater flexibility and the likelihood that you’ll stick to the routine.
Morning Summer Routine
In getting started with your morning routine, create a list of all of the desired activities that you want to complete in the morning.
Since this is your routine, you define what morning means to you. It can be a time from when you wake up until you go to work. Or you can consider your morning as the time slot from when you wake up till mid day.
Some activities that you can incorporate into your summer morning routine include:
- Eating breakfast
- Hygiene routine (Shower, brush teeth, skincare, etc.)
- Quiet time spent with God
- Stretch/exercise
- Journal
- Work on a hobby
- Get dressed
One important thing to think about when planning your morning routine is how much time you have in the morning.
To feasibly complete your planned activities, allocate a sufficient amount of time for each activity so that you’re not rushing and cramming everything on a tight schedule.
If you don’t have enough time to complete all of your desired activities in the morning, allocate some of the flexible ones for later on in the day.
